This is the largest category, and it includes fragrances who's primary ingredients are derived from flowers. Scents in this family include violet, rose, gardenia, lily of the valley and ylang-ylang. Famous floral fragrances include Chloe by Karl Lagerfeld, Eternity by Calvin Klein, Gucci Accenti by Gucci, and Joy by Jean Patou
Floral Scents

Scents in this family include apple, apricot, mandarin, bergamont, neroli, passion fruit, pineapple, and papaya. These perfumes are known to have a clean citrus quality and a soft, peach-like warmth. Famous fruity fragrances include Jess by Jessica McClintock, Lauren by Ralph Lauren.
Fruit Scents

  These are compositions where the predominant notes are derived from green plant parts and notes such as pine, juniper, grass, leaves, and herbs.
